FICC II is classified as Art. 8 under EU Regulation 2019/2088; the fund promotes the following characteristics: a) increasing energy supply from renewable sources; b) improving conditions relating to the health and safety of workers; c) fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace by increasing the presence of young people and/or women and other minorities employed in the target enterprises, d) supporting the numerical growth of employees.

Priority investment sectors
The Fund will prefer investments in companies operating in the following sectors and value chains of Italian industry, with the possibility of expanding into other sectors and value chains of excellence provided that there is an opportunity to pursue at least one of the investment themes of the Fund in the invested companies, such as: the buy-and-build philosophy; international expansion; technological innovation; digitalization of processes and business models; social and environmental sustainability.
